At the redlight on Cold Spring, I was presently suprised when I looked up and saw this beautiful facade on this building. Formerly the Heidelbach Grocery store, which closed in 1978.

At the ‘Miracle on 34th Street” Christmas lights display in December 2011, four cones reserving a parking spot under the many lights.
Miracle on 34th Street in Baltimore, Maryland, is a beloved holiday tradition that transforms the Hampden neighborhood into a dazzling spectacle of lights and festive cheer. Each year, beginning in late November, residents of 34th Street adorn their rowhomes with an extravagant array of colorful lights, elaborate decorations, and whimsical displays.
